The goal is to develop a MLP (Minimum Lovable Product) and engage the first 1000 Daily Active Users (DAUs) and/or 2000 Monthly Active Users (MAUs)
Purpose
The purpose of the MLP is to secure a substantial venture capital investment within a 6-9 month timeframe:
Dangdi has written testimonies from concrete VCs, who intend to commit a €500k-€2M investment, when we have reached this goal.
-> Several other VCs are anticipated to follow suit, as this datapoint is what all VCs want to see.
Why this goal is attainable
The Dangdi lifestyle magazine has already attracted 420k target-group readers organically, demonstrating strong “proof-of-demand”. The same marketing strategy can be replicated, driving MLP downloads.
91% state they want to download and test out Dangdi. Main reasons: better interaction with the local lifestyle, uncensored communication, and deeper local communities.
At present, the target group mainly uses Chinese apps and consume China-related content. The MLP propagates high-quality local content, and local peer- services - currently unavailable.

Our traction already indicates that we can drive large-scale users to download with a near-zero CAC.
MLP scope is to demonstrate the ability to also engage users. That means:
